Brussels, Belgium, December 2021

In December 2021, I made a quick trip to Brussels, primarily to renew my EU Laissez-Passer. Though the visit was short, it gave me the chance to handle official matters, reconnect with colleagues, and enjoy the city’s familiar charm.

Dealing with Documents and Meetings at HQ

The main purpose of the trip was to finalise my new EU travel document, but I also took the opportunity to meet with colleagues at HQ. It was nice to be back in a professional setting in person, after so much time of remote work and virtual meetings.

A Walk Through Brussels – The City’s Timeless Charm

Despite the short stay, I made sure to take a walk around the city, enjoying the historic streets, grand architecture, and winter atmosphere. Even in December’s cold air, Brussels felt as vibrant as ever, with its cobblestone squares, Art Nouveau facades, and warm cafés.

A Swift Return to Panama

Before I knew it, I was already at Amsterdam Airport, making my way back to Panama. Though brief, the visit to Brussels was a nice blend of work, nostalgia, and a quick taste of European winter before heading back to warmer climates.
